Error Fix - Registry Cleaner and Privacy Protector

Using Google as a research aide for her thesis on money laundering was a common occurrence of one individual law school student. This proved to be useful to her and the entire process of writing her paper. After working on the project for a short time, the student faced the annoyance of being directed to a site that had nothing to do with money laundering each time she typed specific key terms. Error Fix includes a mass set of built-in toolkits to optimize the system performance you can ever have.

After the persistency of the problem caused the student to rethink her initial belief of a problem within the search engine or her internet system, she quickly came to realize someone had bugged her. No one likes to be bugged, but at least when the offenders are human, we can fend them off. What this law student is confronted with is a computer bug that she cannot fend off: she had been infected with adware and spyware programs. She faces difficulty for two reasons: firstly, she is not technology minded, and secondly, she uses her laptop only for academic research and paper writing.

The case above is eerily similar to that of an increasing number of individuals who find their computers malfunctioning after being infected with spyware and adware. Though it did not gain popularity until 2000, the term ’spyware’ was first introduced in 1995. This is a computer software program or script innocently infiltrated onto a personal computer to be able to access personal information of the user.

Through studying keystrokes, hard drive material, and web browsing history, this spying is accomplished. Sounds like something we see only in James Bond movies but apparently we are wrong for anyone can be a victim of spyware. It is not an exaggeration to call the people affected by spyware victims because nobody wants their internet activities to be monitored without their consent. Though the theoretical argument can be made that spyware helps the government in tracking criminal activity, there is no societal benefit to be found in the other purposes of the program, such has tracking credit card data. Anti-spyware programs should never be considered ‘optional’ for any computer.

As protection measures, ordinary people can block spyware and similar programs, such as adware and malware. Online adware and spyware blocker programs are easily available to help in this endeavor. Spyware, and its cousins, adware and malware, are not self-replicating like viruses or worms, but they cause irritation to the busy computer user nonetheless, as they cause disruption in the use of the computer. One of the major banes of computer user’s world wide is a slow and sluggish computer, which results from being infected with these programs. Nothing is worse than a crime that goes without punishment, but many spyware programs are able to evade detection. Being proactive with a good blocker is the way that a computer owner should protect his system from allowing these programs to cause his computer harm.
